I tried to use the Rule of Thirds for this photo, with the light pole as the main subject on one of the grid lines. Also the library as a secondary subject on another grid line.
This is an example of leading lines. It is a little off center but the side walks lead your eyes to the top of the photo by the trees.
This was my example of Framing. The gate is open enough to frame her standing there for the picture.
