Assignment 4
This is David Robinson, he works for physical plant monitoring the water levels of the fountain. Recently, the water levels have dropped and they have been observing it to find out if it has dropped because of evaporation or a leak. Physical plant is working to restore the levels. They have about an inch left to go until it is back to normal.

Assignment 4
Everyone, meet Toby. Toby, meet everyone. Toby was sitting with her dog in the park when she let me take her picture. She and her puppy were reading The Lovely Bones. She is a graduate student studying Library Media Technology and a student teacher. Toby has a boyfriend. She says she used her Blue Steel face to get him:
Jesse Tabish in his studio
Jesse Tabish is a Stillwater musician.His studio downtown is as dark as a cave, so I opened up the aperture all the way and balanced the camera on his desk for a long exposure. The result is blue gloomy light seething into the studio from the covered windows across the room during golden hour, and splashes of yellow light from the few halogen lamps he had on.
I like how blue Jesse is. Unfortunately, there was nothing to light up his face, which is also a bit out of focus. Also, Jesse was slowly tilting his head side to side as he listened to a recent recording, so his movement might have blurred his face a little during the exposure.
What really makes this picture are all the neat details, like his recording equipment and the painting in the background. This is Jesse at work.
Assignment 4
This is Chris. He was visiting someone at my apartment complex. He is from Tulsa and goes to NSU in Broken Arrow. After receiving quite a few "no thank you" responses from other subjects it was nice to have someone interested in having their picture taken. I asked him to act natural and to not look directly into the camera. This is the result.

Assignment 4
This is Stephen. He works at McAlisters Deli and is currently a Liberal Arts student at OSU. Prior to coming to OSU, Stephen lived in Los Angeles, hoping to pursue a career in acting. Because of the problems with the economy, Stephen decided to come to OSU and he hopes that obtaining his degree will help him become a performer. During our chat, I asked Stephen if he could make one face that best described his personality, what it would be and he responded "A nice, big smile." I feel that while this photograph isn't complicated, it shows much about Stephen, an easy-going, laid back, simple and happy guy.
