Assignment 3

For this assignment I chose to try to photograph in the style of Christopher Morris. I noticed that Morris' style seemed to focus on framing people in interesting ways, especially focusing on the feet and mid-section. The exception, of course, being when he photographs people of notable status or celebrities, such as the President or Iggy Pop.

I spent some time at the recycling event on Wednesday, February 3. This event is every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is sponsored by the SGA Sustainability Committee, which sets up recycling bins and a table where volunteers hand out pamphlets about recycling.

I attempted to focus on what the event was about rather than who was there by using the framing style of Morris. Hopefully I succeeded in this attempt.
