ASS THREE: style meets a watery substance

STYLE - I chose to follow James Nachtwey's style. His images relied heavily on the subject matter of hands and faces.

I attended Boomer Lake early Saturday morning with Zach Gray to shoot this year's Polar Plunge event.

Participants jump into icy waters (35 degrees Celsius at the time) to raise money for the Special Olympics. I hung out in front of the changing tent to catch plungers right after the icy air froze their already chilled bones.

People were freezing and I worked to capture how people react to cold with their hands and faces.
