The aftermath of Homecoming



Debris from a house decoration sits on the Sigma Phi Epsilon lawn Sunday after the Homecoming festivities have come to an end. Fraternities and sororities began working on the house decs the first week of school.



A boom lift rests on the Sigma Phi Epsilon lawn on Fourth Street on Sunday evening. Fraternities and sororities use a variety of machines and tools to complete their house decorations.



Two Phi Gamma Delta fraternity members tear down the house decoration their house and Pi Beta Phi members spent about two months building. The house pair placed third in the house decoration competition.



Two Fiji members work together to take down their Homecoming house decoration. The men said it will take at least two days to take down the monstrosity of metal, chicken wire and pomp, or tissue paper.



One Fiji member works to remove chicken wire and pomp from a metal rod holding up the house decoration. The men must use gloves and tools to tear down the house dec.

  1. This is the kind of story that would best be told with big grand overalls and lots of tight details. Good job getting the students at work in there.
