Final Project - Mitch Layne

Vahalla Games is a local gaming store in Stillwater located on 10th and Duncan.
Players gather for team-based games, such as Pathfinder, where players read off a pre-written backstory and roll dice based on what action they choose to take. Sometimes the store clerk, Chad, joins in on stories from past games.
Another game played at Valhalla is Magic: The Gathering. Magic is a card game battle between wizards who use spells, artifacts and creatures (drawn on each Magic card) to defeat their opponents.
Some Magic cards are more interesting looking than others; this card is holographic.

One-on-one battles are intense and competitive. When done the right way, Magic games are played quickly.

Some players have to wait until a game is over so that they have a new opponent to face. Often times you will see someone zoning out if they aren't in a match.

While setting up a game of Pathfinder, one player already feels like he has lost.
Players migrate to other groups to discuss strategy, share stories and laugh. It is a very social environment. Even the shyest of people can make new friends here.
But some players prefer to remain quiet and focused. This veteran Magic player was in the zone.

Some players take Magic: The Gathering just as serious as poker.

Two players made it out alive in a tricky game of Pathfinder.

There are other card games available to play, such as this Game of Thrones deck.

A player laughs at the die he just rolled because it landed awkwardly between two numbers. Most of the dice are not 4-sided.
In the game of Pathfinder, players draw out their unique map on a blank canvas.
A young girl takes on Magic: The Gathering in the midst of a bunch of nerdy men.
After a long day of gaming, some players need to take a rest.
