Pleasant Valley is a historical school located at 19th and Western. My original essay was the "History of Payne County." While shooting for that essay I came upon this school and decided to focus only on the school. This school is open to 4th graders throughout all of Oklahoma, where they come once a year and dress as pioneers and attend school as if it were still the 1800s. I wanted my photos to look aged and vintage since the school is over 100 years old.
