I have always loved tattoos, and the stories behind people's tattoos, so when the opportunity to do a photo essay on portraits I decided to do a photo essay on portraits of people with tattoos. It started off as a big challenge, between lighting, backgrounds, and models, but in the end I found that this essay was a lot of fun, and I was able to learn a lot about people and why they have the tattoos they have.
