Black, White, and Emotional
This photo essay promotes and exposes the exposure of each individuals opposing emotional sides and their particular skin type. My inspiration for this photo essay was originally to only show sun damaged skin, but it quickly turned into an expression of different stages of life and the beauty that can be found in each photograph. These photographs are of members of the Grigsby's Carpet and Tile staff in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dub, at the bottom, is the owner of Grigsby's. Amanda (aka Lil-Bit), second to last, is an accounts payable manager. David, second from the top, is Dub's oldest son, he manages and runs Grigsby's. Jeff, at the top, is Dub's second to youngest son and has just begun working at Grigsby's as a salesman. Each individual shows an opposing emotion to the last, which creates contrast for not only emotions but skin texture.
