OSU Women's Lacrosse Club

Women's lacrosse is a club sport at Oklahoma State University. As a club, it is student run. The club receives a little money from campus recreation, but the club must raise money through fundraisers and collecting dues for equipment, umpires, field maintenance and traveling expenses.
Women's lacrosse is different than men's because it is more of a finesse game. Only stick-to-stick contact is allowed.
Sam Skinner is the club president. Sam plays mid and low defense.
On the weekends, Sam and her friend Britny Johnson, who plays center and is the club's vice president, make home movies. In this video, Britny is creeping on Sam.

Sam and Britny also volunteer at the animal shelter on the weekends.
Thomas Kuzmic, center, is the team's coach. He volunteers his time for the club. He played lacrosse in college and says he enjoys being around the game.
Kuzmic is also a professor in the Natural Resource Ecology and Management department at OSU. One of his classes travels to Honduras in the spring. They study forest management and sustainable farming practices. His students put together displays for an open house where they shared what they learned on the trip with guests.

if you're not focused, Sam will put the ball in the back of the net.

  1. The story is a bit disjointed but excellent job capturing a variety of images from multiple aspects of the subjects lives.
