I spent one evening walking around campus looking for a unique photo opportunity with nice light. I decided to chose this picture because it's a different view of the Student Union from the perspective of Theta pond. I like that the sun is setting so the selective focus of light is on the actual Union. The photo is composed nicely with the fountain falling on the left rule of thirds and the sky line of the Union on the upper rule. I also like how the fountain is flowing upward drawing the eye to the sunlight and the Union.
